Chora, the capital consists of two beautiful settlements, namely Chorio and Kastro. The former is a tranquil, scenic village with cubic houses and unruly prickly pears while the latter is built on the edge of a cliff and is fortified. Some of the beaches you should tick off your Sikinos list are Agios Georgios, Agios Panteleimonas, Diakiskari, Livadi, Malta and Santorineika. Though there is only a handful of tavernas on the island, like Kapari, Klimataria, Meltemi and Almyra, you will enjoy some mouth-watering food. Don’t forget to give fresh figs, local wine and honey a try!
