A nautical mile -more or less- from Paros lies Antiparos, a very small yet wondrous island. Its pristine natural beauty, low-key character and fairly minimalistic aesthetics make Antiparos the epitome of Cycladic coolness. Naturists will fall for the Cave of Antiparos famed for its stalagmite and stalactite formations. If geology is not your thing then Chora, the beautiful port cum capital of the island that stretches around the Venetian Castle is where all the buzz happens. Captain Pipinos, Taverna Giorgis and Kalokéri will serve you amazing Greek food and some shade. If you are in the mood for some pizza, Lollo’s is considered an all-time classic. As for the seaside lovers, Psaraliki, Soros, Glifa, Livadia and Agios Georgios are some of the island’s fantastic beaches. Nearby Despotiko island is a tiny, relatively unknown and uninhabited islet that has some beautiful beaches bedded with soft, warm sand.
